A bit of an ogre focus this episode as this arrived through our office window. We think it was thrown by a zombie, mainly because their hand was still attached.
Seems that TWIC spawned a raging wave of creativity and everyone has been getting in on the grudge action
Rbthma goes grudging
Grudgingly accompanied by Araznaroth
and always one to bear a grudge, Diablange joins in too
The circus was in town this week too and we go to our man in/on/under the field, bakadon
Bio Focus!
Firstly, have a look at the new Cathay team, the Weijin Celestial Dragons. They had some large shoes to fill after the shock retirement of the GCD but they are filling the void admirably
The Faceless Prophet is quickly becoming one of the most interesting Cibbl characters, keep an eye on this guy!
and finally, fan favourite, Queen Amphinome's Revenge, are on an amazing run at the moment. Check out the team here.
This week Vima decided to (editor's note : he was reminded he was paid to) review fouls made by others in CIBBL, not only his own. And what a sorry lot those others are. A cascade of terrible foul, fail dodges before reaching a throat, calling on the ref BEFORE the foul was made, foulers getting hurt instead of the target. Dreadful. I watched a group of five fish-smelling, thanks to this new generation of Cabalvision-thingy I could almost see the stink-lines, octopus-like nasty elfs try to hurt an ogre. There was so much screaming, so much waving of arms, that they had managed to attract the referee before they could even finish the job. And then the brute stood up again as if nothing had happened.
Then there was those weird sack of bones, going against religious zelots of the worst kind, going at it with a chainsaw (the cheaters) and a giant pile of animated bones. The only thing the referee saw was a chainsaw going right into the pitch. He didn't like that one bit. In my opinion he should have thrown that whole damn team out of the game for that poor level of nasty play.
As each time I needed a stiffer drink to stomach this level of inconpetency, by the time I time I finally watch someone getting hurt a little (not even leaving the pitch, but at that point I had to accept what I could get), everything was blurry I'm not sure if it was a man with horn or a beast with hands who made the foul.
I hope things will pick up in CIBBL soon, terrible display so far.
Until next week
