Warpstone Open



The Warpstone Open is one of FUMBBL's Major Tournaments.

To qualify for the Warpstone Open, you must win one of the 13 Qualifiers. All R and B teams may apply for a spot in one of the Qualifiers.

To be eligible for a spot in the Qualifiers you need to apply to this group.

Applications will be sorted by TV and the Highest 208 (possibly 104 depending on numbers) teams at the application deadline will be accepted into the group. If we have less than 208 (possibly 104 depending on numbers) applicants then the blank spaces in the draws will be evenly distributed and filled by teams that automatically forfeit any game they are drawn in.

Coaches may apply with one team only for the qualifiers. There are second chances in this tournament however. If you are defeated you may apply to the main page, with the same team, in hope of winning one of the Warpstone Lottery tickets. All duplicate applications to this group will be deleted!

Prizes

The team that wins the tournament will receive 50,000 gold pieces, one extra MVP and three random mutations ! The mutations are awarded in the following manner: The Coach of the wining team may select the first of their players to receive a mutation, but the other two are selected randomly from the players on the winning team roster after the post game sequence has been completed, but before new players are hired, so each MUST have been part of the team for the finals. Each of these three players then recieves one randomly generated mutation of the 10 available in the CRP ruleset. If the player recieves a mutation that they already have, a new mutation is generated. These mutations are additional skills, raising the amount of skills that player can have to 7. they do not count for SPP on the player but will count for 20TV each.

a little question: teams are sorted by tv: a team with 166 tv could get in or there is no chance ? (ie: do i need to enter a 200+ tv team to be sure to play?)

That would largely depend on the total number of applicants, so bery hard to predict what the actual cut-off will be.

Can you apply to the tournament and still play matches until the deadline, or is your team frozen once you have applied? When is the application deadline?

@Eddie, you can continue to play your team but your team has to "readied" at the deadline else the draw will not include them. The Deadline is 21:59 on the 16th January as the Draw begins to be processed at 22:00 ;)
