So, just played my 500th game on FUMBBL! Woo! :D

I celebrated this nice milestone with a very fortunate 1-0 win over muaddib68's Chaos Pact team with my new ARR Blackbox Underworld team. It was a low-TV game, very crazy and dice-happy. The first few turns saw several big-guy double (and I think even triple?) skulls, and I lost a couple of players early. On turn 6, Muaddib broke through my lines with a marauder, who was poised to pass to his linerat, in a sure scoring position. Fortunately for me, he failed a go for it and spilled the ball, which allowed me to collect it with a nearby gobbo and, thanks to some further blessings from Nuffle, I went in 1-0 up at half time.

Unfortunately, by that time, half my team was in the cas box, and I started the 2nd half with 7 players :). So, I ran what remained of my team down the side to attempt a quick 2-turn score. On turn 2, I made a lucky pass with a linerat to my blitzer, who blitzed through his gobbo and just needed one more square to make the TD ... then failed the gfi (which is fair enough). Anyway, I somehow managed to hold him up with 6 .. 5 .. 4 players, and on my T8, his marauder had the ball within scoring distance. Man of the match must go to my linerat, Fester, who made a 4+, 3+ dodge to bring the marauder down on a 1d, and managed to collect the ball, all without any rerolls left!

Thanks muaddib68 for a totally crazy game - you were very unlucky not to get at least a draw.

Anyway, it's been a good 500 games (just hope my wife doesn't find out how much time I've been spending on here .. ;) )
