This is for anyone who is interested in RPG/strategy mobile games:
My brother-in-law (who lives in Korea) started his own company a couple of years ago making mobile games. They have a new game that they have just recently released globally, called
Orpheus Story: The Shifters. It is basically a resource-gathering strategy/RPG game, where you use your resources to build up a kingdom; train up heroes and armies; and eventually wage war against other players (or trade with them, join forces in guilds, etc. if that is more your sort of thing ..).
As well as the strategy part, there is quite an amusing story running through the game, based loosely on Greek mythology, with some pretty anime-style graphics. The story is revealed gradually as you play through the game; construct more buildings and research new technologies.
If anyone is interested to give it a try, below are the app store links:

As a disclaimer, the creator of the game is a family member of mine, so my opinion is probably biased. It is free to download and play, but it does include in-app purchases - you can purchase gems that can be used to accelerate building/development. Although, my wife and I have been playing it a lot and it seems like you can get quite a lot of play out of it without having to spend any money.
Also, because the game was developed in Korea, some of the English translation is a bit hit-and-miss. Although, I actually find it quite amusing in a Jonglish, 'all your base are belong to us' kind of way ;)
