The sewers of the Old World are alive with the sound of celebrating rats! The first of my teams has managed to reach 100 games - my Blackbox Skaven team, Nice Gnawing You :)

Their 100th game was also my first ever game in a Black Box Brawl - a closely-fought 2-1 win in the first round over bram's Human team, Averland Wanderers.

I tend to lean towards the agile teams in general - Skaven are one of my favourites, along with High Elves. These guys were the first Skaven team I made on FUMBBL, back in the LRB4 days, and, being a rookie rat team in the Box, they had a rough start while I was learning the ropes :).

Right now, they have a roughly even win/loss record (39/19/42). They've entered a few tourneys, but haven't yet managed to win any. Right now, they are sitting at a pretty healthy 1900TV and sporting some of the nicest stars they've ever had:

A ST4, AG4 Blitzer - Trasher
A ST3, AG5, Wrestle Gutter Runner - Malek Ravenstorm
Blodge, Sidestep, Shadowing guy - Nightstalker

and, of course, no Skaven team would be complete without the filthy natural one-turner ;)

Highest spp star they've had was a nasty CPOMB Blitzer with Horns named FiXXXer. He was quite the menace (and foul target) until one day he took one boot too many from an Undead team and that was that. His understudy, Vespreth, has tried to fill his boots ever since, but hasn't quite managed it.

Among their more memorable games:

A glorious 4-1 win against icesmooth's Dwarf team, Tre St. Mary (I think it was a B Minor). The little Dwarven legs just couldn't keep up with the rats, who ran rings around them, to the delight of the watching fans. :)

A really close 4-3 win against garyt1's Ogre team, World of Wrestling. It was a truly epic game - the rats thought they would have it easy, but the Ogres puled out all the stops and kept scoring TTM touchdowns with their AG4 snots - 6 TDs in the first half! The game went right down to the wire, but the sneaky rats just edged it in the end.

Another close 3-2 win against buuface's Norse team, Children of the Storm. This was actually coach JellyBelly's first win in a FUMBBL major, which took us through to a 2nd round match against ...

Jokaero's Death Guard Legion! They knocked us out 1-0 and eventually went on to win the whole major, so we weren't too unhappy with the result. It was a good game and actually pretty close. The rats had several chances to score and take the game into overtime, but it wasn't to be (partly due to some poor coaching decisions). Oh well, maybe next time! :)

Ambitions for the future:
- Keep plugging away in the Box and maybe one day qualify for a Box major finals.
- Complete a Blackbox sprint and win a Skaven belt.
- Try a Rat Ogre again (for the lols).
- Beat Rash ;)
- Need to do some more work on piccies and fluff. They are particularly lacking a decent logo atm, so I need to look into that.

(oops, did I forget to mention, -236 on casualties? That's a lot of rats going splat!)
