There has been a lot of talk about changing the rule set recently.
It is hard to see how we could create a new rule set.
Fumbbl coaches cannot even agree that the sun is probably hot.
We haven't even been able to apply two fairly minor changes to one division let alone a whole rule set to the whole site.
Yes I would like those two changes on the Box. But that will do for a trial. Don't even apply them for every draw.
Just one draw in four so that we can get a taste of it.
But hey, if Christer changed anything his popularity would soon rival that of Galak. ;)
More [L]eague options would be great though. Forget this "One rule set to rule them all" nonsense. You need to tailor the rules to the league or division.
Better start with that +2 fouling. How about the eye?
And best of all a "transfer to [L]eague" button :D
The Open [L]eague Cup will NOT be changing it's rules.
It will use the same rules as last year.
CRP plus the following house rules.
House Rules
1. Fouling +1 to armour roll.
2. Claw does not stack with other skills that modify armour rolls.
3. Piling On allows coach to reroll injury only.
4. Right Stuff prevents the Tackle skill when blocked.
5. Sneaky Git functions like Guard on foul assists.
6. Banned sneaky git players are sent to the KO box instead.
Kick off Thursday 22nd May!
The
Open [L]eague Cup is a knockout tournament
open to all coaches. There is
NO TV limit. Each coach is allowed a
maximum of two teams.
The Cup is open to
any [L]eague division team that the tournament staff considers appropriate. Teams may be excluded for example if they have been built up by playing only a very small number of teams.
If a coach is unfortunate enough to have his/her teams drawn against each other, the coach may choose which team progresses.
