Does this thing has any division for rookie only teams?
Posted by Russo on 2015-02-28 20:31:02
Well if you are entering a new team you will almost certainly be playing mostly new teams with the odd team that has played a handful of games.
OBBA.....so good it makes grown men cry!
.....oh and it causes hair-growth in the bald:-)

There's also a NA/SA time zone division for those uncivilized folk who know this game as 'soccer'. Ask about the MLS/USL Pro divisions!

I may be tempted to join the NA division... hmmmm

we do indeed. The conference division is always full of rookie teams.

Cool. I can see there is a soft race limit. What races are allowed for that rookie team section?
Posted by pythrr on 2015-03-01 03:06:58
I thinkt he only races tat are currently full are
CDs.
Orcs.
Undeads.
Everything else is fine. Especially apes, and maybe humans. Also goblins. ;)

I minterested to join with apes (rookies ofc). But let s be honest i m not a fan of football... Will you acept a geek e sport fan as long as he does some home town football team fluff ?
Posted by Royston on 2015-03-01 13:31:40
As long as they are fluffy it doesn't matter. We've had some very loose fluff over the years too.
Oval Balls FTW (https://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=356563) springs to mind.

Applied! Always wanted to be a part of this. :D
Posted by bghandras on 2015-03-01 22:10:56
What is the deadline for application, how many matches will be played in one season, and how long does one round take?
Posted by pythrr on 2015-03-01 23:33:20
Season 22 will start mid-March; applications accepted until then. However, there is the opportunity for teams to play up to 2 pre-season games vs other OBBA teams, so the earlier you apply, the more chance you have to do this.
Season = 7 rounds, each involving 1 game per 10 days. Then there is a KO cup competion which runs for about a month, then we start the next season (and so on).
