(off-topic) D&D campaign
Very much off-topic for FUMBBL, but I figured I'd post about it anyway. I'm playing one of the characters in a D&D campaign run by Jackbull (https://twitch.tv/jackbull) which is starting on the 30th of December at 19:00 UTC. For those of you who are interested in D&D, feel free to stop by and listen in. The other plays are Thulean, Spacecadet404 and BelgianGimli.
This is my first real "serious" TTRPG character and I can't even begin to express how excited I am about it, even if there's a fair amount of nervousness involved as well. The plan is to run it on Sundays between 19:00 and 22:00 UTC, but for the first one the Saturday fit better (I think we can all agree holidays are awful).

Playing a lot of RPG Stuff myself I wish you a lot of fun. Apart from Blood Bowl the best thing you can do with your time.

Sorry I missed the twitch, but I'm sure you guys had a great time. If you're liking TTRPGs, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is brilliant, and obviously the most Blood Bowl adjacent. WHFRP took over the 1990s after school glory days for our group. The grim setting, the brilliantly evocative career system, featuring beautiful, imagination-firing portraits for every single basic and advanced career from, lowly Rat Catcher to far-sailing Explorer, the crunchy, detailed and gory combat, and the tales of psuedo-political intrigue all made other offerings seem vanilla by comparison.
I was lucky enough to get the fourth edition developed by Cubicle 7 for Christmas, and I am blown away that they have not just done a brilliant job updating while retaining the spirit, but retained aspects of the Warhammer setting which were not so present in the Warhammer Fantasy Battle series (from 4th ed anyway, not sure about previous), such as Old World gods and religions besides chaos and war gods.
OK ennough raving! Congratulations on popping yout TTRPG cherry - great way to start the year. Welcome, happy new year, and if you dare, may you enter the Grim World of Perilous Adventure!!
