I can only agree with you. Squigs are overpowered.

Squig can field really stupid mv4 "beasts".... target their herders and they're done for.

They're strong, but I don't think they're overpowered. Squigs or Hoppers (not both) could stand to lose S access, I think, and maybe the reroll price could come up.
But, like most stunty teams, Squigs have all sorts of cryptonite which typically destroys them–– A solid bomb squad can devastate a Squig formation, both on defense and offense. And facing a regen team will almost always mean they lose the attrition war. I've also seen them struggle against teams like Fae, where taking down big guys is a big investment, and the little guys nullify their natural advantages.

awambawamb, errr... I don't think that match really proves much. Let's face it–– your opponent was clearly drunk and had no clue what he was doing.
4 Squigs on the opening set up? In perfect 'bomb-target' formation? Break Tackle on a Squig? Not protecting the Hopper? eh... I didn't watch the whole thing, but I think we need a better example!

His life served a purpose and was fulfilled, that is what counts in the end and will be remembered! - R.I.P. Count Hemoglobin.

With really stupid and bloodlust, and still needing doubles for block etc they certainly have issues. Try them and see.

Squigs can be destructive, but they're far from unbeatable. There are much better coaches than me, but my two main teams (Swarmy of Darkness and Stick the Moot In) are 5/2/4 and 4/2/6 against Squigs. Even my Nurglings are 1/2/2. That's pretty close to 50/50 chances of beating them, you can't ask for much more than that...

Squigs: if the order of resolving Bloodlust and Really Stupid were reversed it would be interesting. As it stands I see Really Stupid as a kind of protection against Bloodlust, meaning the team doesn't tend to self destruct the way I think they should.

saying they're NOT overpowered? 6 ST4 players with Mighty Blow and Claw, this is ridiculous in stunty. They got too much muscle and they are fast too, so they can bash and score too easily. Even the linos are overpowered they have a decent armor and good movement, not speaking of the Hoppers, so full of starting skills. Hope they'll go through a nerfing after the Necro, or getting totally removed from the leeg and replaced with another new roster, which would be better.

Crooooooooooooook... I think you've still got blood in your eyes. There were lots of things going against you in this match. You had a bad game. He had a lucky game. His injury rolls were great–– yours were bad. (You can tell this simply by noticing that Sommelier Vlad had 13 blocks an no casualties.) Your team didn't have an airtight construction, either–– I would definitely have gone Dauntless or Side-Step instead of Kick-Off Return, Shadowing, or Jump Up. And several of your players were injured. Also, you kicked first, and then got Blitzed. If there had been no Blitz, Count Hemoglobin would have been alive, and you probably would have been receiving in the second half to a 1-1 score, with a stronger line-up.
I think that Strigs could use a boost, but Squigs are not even close to the strongest team.

I'm with cameronhawkins on this. Yes, Squigs are awful, but that was a dicing.

wrong construction? I had 3 killer cript-ghouls and a ball carrier. why would i need dauntless when i have a ST6 Strig Lord? Jump up is needed because of piling on, shadowing with tackle pisses off many opponents. I don't think Strigs need a boost because once they develop they're really good and you can create many different kinds of crypt ghouls with so many skills access. Anyway i won't do such a mistake again and accept a game vs broken teams.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen...
This is not the Crook I know!
This is not the Crook who cooly looked across the field to Number 2 and said "Bring it!"
This is not the Crook who effortlessly broke that monster, and left his pieces on the pitch to fertilize the flowers!
FOR SHAME, SIR! FOR SHAME!!

I never understood the need for this team.
Squig Herders can field as much strength as many normal BB teams, with MB Leap and Claw to boot. Their food source is AV7. I realize the bigs have negatraits but it's just out of whack IMO.
Strigoyan have so much more flavor and are a sensibly designed team. But Squigs steal their thunder, sadly.

Don't cry... Squigs don't have G access. Hence it's all good.

i partially agree with crook,
if they roll double on squigs(on high tv is possible) they are broken
