Fluff against boredom
Well after more than 2000 games this game starts to get really predictable. I'm not going to bore you with all the flaws that I think affect Blood Bowl, let's only say these days I really lost my fun in the game, no matter I win or lose.
What keeps me interested in the website is the chance to build fluff, and fluff is what I really like. If you also are fluff fanatics you might enjoy the story of the Friars of the Firm Fist, a team of weird religious men who pray really hard. Led by the not-so-holy Abbot Holyeye, they play against any kind of sinners and heretics. The Abbot records every progress and speech after games, included some strange things that happen in Whitepuddle Abbey. Recently, the Friars have discovered the truth about Brother Woman, and the Abbot was forced to admit that he let a female sneak into the Abbey. In team's bio and player's bios you can follow the development of the story. The team is just for fun, hope you like that.

If you don't enjoy playing the game, and spend over an hour in a match just to get your enjoyment writing one or two sentences in a match report or a team bio, I would suggest you cut out the middle man, stop playing Blood Bowl, and just write fiction. It's a bit depressing to read your match reports and see you're not having any fun.

The large majority of your games are either ranked or stunty leeg. If that's become boring and you like fluff, why don't you join a fluff-heavy league?
