Well things aren't going well for the Friars of the Firm Fist. Their record is poor, the players skill slowly, and now Abbot Holyeye seems to have lost his sanity after that Brother Woman was killed by Nice Guy Eddie.

"The Skaven are a plague!" roared the Abbot in a delirious speech to the brothers. "We must purge Blood Bowl from them, we will play only against teams that feature rats until the Lord's rage is appeased!"

It was clear to the brothers that he was drunk as hell, and it was equally clear that this is no holy crusade, but vendetta for the loss of his concubine, which he sneaked into the abbey disguised as a friar. Crazy and full of pain as he was, nobody dared to contradict him, and the crusade is now on.
