Welcome to the home of the lino family, the niggled star players and the lucky skill rolls. The core of the Stars is and has always been that of the 'ni brothers, always ready to fill out the heart of the team. There are three 'ni's in the the team now, but a quick look at the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=pastplayers&team_id=134463">mortality list</a> suggests what might have been.... For a long time no-one could persuade the remaining brothers to leave their house, until mother 'ni, now officially the team's sponsor, dragged three more of her sons down to the stadium. It's not all about them, of course. There's the superstar catcher, who refuses to share the ball in his quest for legend status. There have been wardancers with egos big and small. And then there's been the coach, who despite the wealth of talent available to him manages to maintain a losing record. What ability.... Also, ever wonder why they're called Elendil's <i> Second</i> Stars<a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=134162">?</a> 58 skill rolls: 5 doubles, 2 MA increases, 1 ST increase, 8 AG increases.... 3 AG increases, 1 MA and the ST increase now dead, as are 3 of the doubles. Ageing: 5spp: 1/24, 16spp 1/17, 31spp 1/11, 51spp 1/4, 76spp 1/2, 126spp 0/1 Finest players of the team: <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1740127">Illis</a> (spp hogger but no intention of stopping) <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1734434">Eimein</a> (long-serving wardancer, former team captain) <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1720136">Elan</a> (hard git, predictably killed) <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1531854">Afesol</a> (former team captain, one cheeky pass-block too many) The 'ni brothers (put together they add up to at least half of a decent player) In all seriousness, if you play this team you can expect a fair and clean match, and most likely a bit of fun (and most likely a win as well). We try not to cherrypick, but we won't go up against someone who is going to turn us into jelly. If you can play us without killing us all, drop us a pm and we'll see what we can do :) <b> (Temporary Edit)</b> We are cherry picking right now, as we're trying to put the team together after a pretty heavy mauling (ironically at the hands of fellow woodies). So, for what's turning out to be a very long while, anyone with so much as an mb will be turned down (a strategy validated when we were bold enough to try necros and immediately suffered a death, and then pro-elves whose single mb caused another death).
