wow what a shocker *roll eyes*
the surprising thing here is that you paid them money and expected a decent product

That sounds like a windows error tbh. Permissions errors are pretty much always OS side, not software side.

It actually looks like my computer is too old (as in "can't upgrade, it can't understand upgrades" kind of old). Coombz: Was giving them the benefit of the doubt.

have had absolutely no problems in the Beta (other than a few conceeders)
Remove it completely and install it again.
And better chances of getting help on Steam forum.

I suspect by unable to upgrade he means he has a 32 bit os? If so he's need to reinsatll windows from scratch because you cant upgrade from 32 to 64. Not worth it if he only intends to do it for BB2, but if the case is it's a main gaming pc it's gonna be a hurdle that needs to be jumped sooner rather than later for other games. We're leaving the 32 bit era, and tbh thank god.

I think you've got it right, Silent... and I can't afford a new computer at all, so I'm going to be left in the dust in about a year and a half if not a lot sooner.

Is your processor x64 compliant? If so you can just do a clean slate OS install. That's the only hardware requirement. What's the exact model of it?

Update to windows 10 x64?

Sage: Anything after windows 7 can go burn. And if it doesn't burn I'll MAKE it burn.
Silent: Not updating, period. Computer's just too old, plus I have no install disks or anything. When the time comes I'll just end up buying a new computer.

Bought this 64 bit dualcore PC used for 20 euros. Admittedly slow and crappy, but more than enough to play BB2 i guess. The 17" TFT screen i got for 5€, which was lucky i admit, normally they go for 10-25€, depends.
About 300€ will get you a refurbished i5-i7 thinkpad 15". Unless you are a professional it actually makes no sense buying new hardware as only the mechanical parts are really prone to wear. And even then a lot of IT guys could just as well buy most hardware used.
Used hardware prices are most probably not that much different in your country than in mine.
Same logic is true, for a lot of other products of course (which most of them we dont really need anyway, if we are true to ourself). Fetish of products and social pressure is what makes the masses still buy and produce more garbage every day. Thats it.
You might think its not cool. In fact however you are the trendsetter....if such shallow things may be of any importance to you.

Oh and as things can be online...i guess i explicitly have to say i hope the new "Borak" will be new and shiny of course.
This obviously was only related to this specific blog, trying to be helpful.
