Sometimes the dice are unkind.

Sometimes we lose games that on paper, we should win 95 times in 100.

Sometimes all you need is any one of several dice to show a 2 or more, and all you see are the dark empty pits of despair that are 1's.

But hey, it BB, and that's dice. If that's not OK, don't come.

I've had some tough games i the last few days and hours. 5 games of solidly crappy dice. Of seeming omnifail. Of 2+ acting as 5+, of every player hitting with invisible C+mb. It included a run of 19 consecutive fouls going uncalled, over 2 games. Somehow, looking back on it now, i scraped 2 draws and 2 wins from the debacle, with only one loss. But goodness it felt like a pounding.

I say felt, of course the run may not be over.

So I write this blog not to rage and to quit, not to complain, nor to call for rule changes. But to apologise.

This run will end. I am due some insanely one sided dice, I am going to see sixes, lots and lots of sixes. It may not be the next game, it may not be the one after. But someone is going to be it, someone will feel it.

One game, hopefully soon, I am going to be the windscreen again, and someone is going to be the fly.

And when that happens, when i type 'sorry', i may not entirely mean it.
