Just got back from an excellent holiday on Crete.

Lovely weather, great hotel, nice greek food, decent scuba diving, top quality kids facilities. All good.

But....

The Hotel was somewhat mixed, with a few brits, spanish, italians, nordics and french, but mostly Russians (25%, often VERY rude sadly) and Germans (50% very polite and easy to deal with, we made some nice german friends)

This meant the majority of the entertainment (it is a family hotel) was aimed at the germans,

One especially made me chuckle. They announced a 'special guest' and someone badly dressed as Madonna arrived and 'fell in the pool' at which point an inflatable crocodile was apparently attacking her. So to the tune of 'we need a Hero' several heros emerged to try and save her

Batman failed
Superman failed
Rambo failed
Robin Hood failed
Conan failed
James Bond failed
Tarzan failed

Who saved Madonna? None other than our curly chested Hoffmeister in baywatch mode.

I mean i know the Hoff is a god, and that he reunited germany. But come on germans the world over

let it go.

He is nothing without his robot car.
