The Ranked Amateurs have played 7 of the 10 team races in the Ranked Amateurs vs the Grid Challenge. We are currently seeking Skaven, Underworld, and Wood Elf teams: if you challenge us with a team of one of these three races, and you win, you will raise a total of $24.79 USD for FUMBBL! Any takers? We are also taking on challengers from the other six races yet to have beaten us: Amazon, Dark Elf, Elf, Goblin, Halfling, and Vampire. If you play one of these teams, don't fear the occasional uphill match, and want to raise money for FUMBBL, PM me, and we'll get a game going! So far, coaches have raised $78.74 for the cause: will you be the next one to help the site without going out of pocket?

Yes, we have five tackle. Yes, you have to win (ties don't count). No, we don't plan on making this challenge easy. But with Gutter Runners, ClawPOMB, or Wardancers, you'd think any ol' coach would have a shot at pulling it off on a lucky day, and there are better coaches than me on this site. I'll play anyone, and take most any non-stupid matchup (say, up or down 20% or so).

For those not following the challenge, we're 2-5-1 in 8 matches, and I'd say 2 of the ties were close to being losses (the other 3 were me playing ultra-conservative 'cause of the challenge). We've played 2 games vs HE (lost the 2nd one) and one each vs the six races above, in the 2nd paragraph. The wins were 3-1 vs. Amazon and 2-1 vs Dark Elves, both pitch-clears (we also cleared the pitch on the Pro Elves). The 1-3 loss was an embarrassing fiasco of a first half and a 1-1 second half. The most exciting game so far was the first one, a 3-3 tie vs Goblins.
