#9: Chad Scott [HOWL], Beastman. Block, Sure Hands, Side Step, +AG, 75 SPP.
#41: Lafonte Thorougood [VAMP], Warrior. Dodge, Block, Side Step, 38 SPP.

#C3.3: Justin Smith [SF], Blocker. Block, Mighty Blow, 20 SPP.
GPA: 2.80
* ArrestedDevelopment: C+
None of these picks are spectacularly awful, but none of them are spectacular either. Needs aren't fully met - I'd prefer to see more warriors drafted. We do have a utility/killer, a carrier, a development track killer, and uh... a quarterback?
* Arcayn: B
This class for me is "Meh". I'm not a fan of drafting 2 BC Beastmen. I would have rather seen a 4th Warrior drafted. But the players they did get were quality for where they were picked.
* Kzarik: C-
2 Carriers? 1 developed warrior in Comp picks. Don't really love this start for the team and i predict a rough go early.
* Dashergeaux: B
Solid picks, but nothing special. And picking up two ball carriers for a team with all the needs is nice, but doesn't inspire confidence. These guys have AV 8. They won't go away as quickly as the elves!
* ex-convict: A
I thought that Cleaved Land may have had arguably the best draft out of the expansion teams. Not only do they get three Warriors to form their core, they get not one, but two +Ag Beastmen to provide offense. We'll see if this style eventually suits Malkor more than the last one.
* Jeffro:
Huh. Solid start for a group of Chaos Chosen. I am at a lack for biting commentary and that is rare.
Cincinnati Hydras (NEW!)
Dark Elf, rodney_dangerfield
Last Season: 3-6-5 (with Chaos Dwarfs).
Needs: 2 Witch Elves, 4 Blitzers, 0-2 Assassins, 1-2 Runners, Linemen.
Draft Capital: 10, 42; Comp 1.4, 2.6, 3.4.
#10: Shane “Fraggin” Jones [BK], Blitzer. +ST, Dodge, Tackle, Leap, 51 SPP.
#42: Little Sacred Mask [POLI], Runner. Block, Kickoff Return, Pass, Accurate, 55 SPP.
#C1.4: Chad Henne [JAX], Blitzer. AG+, Sure Feet, Sprint, 50 SPP.
#C2.6: Catherine “Patton” Bessant [CAR], Lineman. Mighty Blow, +MA, Guard, 50 SPP.
#C3.4: Jaylon Smith [DAL], Lineman. Guard, Mighty Blow, 27 SPP.
GPA: 3.40
* ArrestedDevelopment: C+
I like exactly one player from this front office. And I'm okay with 2. But the rest don't feel like value at all. Chad Henne especially - +AG is great sure, but we've got two skills on top of it that mean unless he rolls +MA later he's effectively worse than just hoping one of your rookies hits +AG early, or even after blodge SS. Relatively solid lineelf picks keep this score reasonable.
* Arcayn: A
I like this class a lot. Pretty solid all around. At first glance I cringed when I saw linemen with multiple skills but no block... then I realized they are 1 and 4 SPP from skilling. Same with Henne, he is 1 SPP from his next skill as well. Very Solid Class here.
* Kzarik: C+
A ST4 leaper will cause some trouble. Picked up a guard and grabbed a couple stats. At first glance the team will be leaning on that ST4 until the other blitzers/witch elves develop.
* Dashergeaux: B
This would be an A+ if the last compesation pick was a witch with SS. As it stands it's two line elf hitters without block.
* ex-convict: A-
Love the team name (I hope the corresponding logo is just as dope), and I like the draft for the most part. Shane falling to #10 overall was pure fortune, the runner is solid, and the two linemen are really close to getting block. I feel that the first comp pick was questionable, as Jadeveon Clowney (+AG,Grab,MB,T) seems like a better player, but maybe Rodney will use his +AG/Sprint/Surefeet blitzer in interesting ways that we didn't anticipate.
* Jeffro:
How many Chad Hennes *ARE THERE*?!!? Hopefully they all die at the exact same point in the season and we can have a picnic.
Kaepsburgh Kneelers
Necromantic, Nicodemus1
Last Season: 4-3-7.
Assets: one great Werewolf, one good Flesh Golem and one MA3 Golem.
Needs: Werewolf, Golem, 2 Wights, Ghoul.
Draft Capital: 16, 48.
#16: “Makers” Mark Hinkley [CONN], Wight. +ST, Guard, Tackle, 36 SPP.
#48: T-Shirt Launcher Guy [TX], Ghoul. Accurate, Leader, [Skill], 32 SPP.
GPA: 3.35
* ArrestedDevelopment: B
Solid picks. Not big on the skillset on T-Shirt Launcher Guy [TX] at all, but this comes down to personal preference. Kaepsburgh were looking for 2 of 3 from wight, golem and ghoul here, with the option to grab a good wolf highly unlikely. They got a stud wight and a reasonable ghoul.
* Arcayn: B-
A great Wight in the middle of the 1st Round is a steal. The ghoul in the second, less desirable.
* Kzarik: C+
I like adding a +ST Wight with G/T, but the ghoul passer...meh.
* Dashergeaux: A
Just a nice job of getting needs and the best guy on the board for him.
* ex-convict: A-
I don't know how Mark Hinkley fell to #16 when he was probably projected to be a top 5 pick (#3 to the original New York pick seemed likely), so Nico gets a steal. I don't love the passing ghoul, but Nico always seems to like having one around, so it fits.
* Jeffro:
Still mourning the loss of Teresa Gervase... it hath affected Nico's mind to the point where it resembles the cheese of someone suffering from advanced syphilis. Solid school like UCONN might help him pull it out.
Smaltimore Bedaines (NEW!)
Dwarf, thoralf
Last Season: 5-6-3 (with Dark Elves). Playoffs: #3 seed, 0-1.
Needs: Deathroller, 2 Slayers, 2 Runners, 2 Blitzers, Blockers.
Draft Capital: 21, 53; Comp 1.7, 2.3, 3.1.
Trades: #21 traded dwon for #27 and #59.
#27: Ryan Delaire [HOWL], Blitzer. Dodge, Mighty Blow, Tackle, Guard, 53 SPP.
#53: Mike Vrabel [OH], Slayer. Mighty Blow, Piling On, Tackle, 46 SPP.
#59: Dirk Boston [DUKE], Blocker. Diving Tackle, [Skill], 16 SPP.
#C1.7: Jadeveon Clowney [HOU], Blitzer. +AG, Grab, Mighty Blow, Tackle, 58 SPP.
#C2.3: Same Atoe [CAL] [HOU], Runner. +MA, Block, Sure Feet, Sprint, 68 SPP.
#C3.1: Dexter McCluster [TEN], Runner. Catch, Dirty Player, Sneaky Git, [Skill], 52 SPP.
GPA: 2.20
* ArrestedDevelopment: C+
A smattering of nice for the dwarves, with a sprinkling of bizarre. I don't think I really need to comment too heavily except to say while I fully expect HC Thoralf to be fine with the dp/sg combo, bolting catch and another skill on top of it makes for an extremely TV punitive fouling runner.
* Arcayn: D
Not a fan of most of this class. Not a fan of Piling On in it's current iteration. That Pool 3 pick in the Comp draft is a total head scratcher for me.
* Kzarik: B-
Filled out the blitzers with some skills and even snagged a diving tackle to help combat enemy speed. I really don't like the final pick. Very expensive fouler with marginal usage otherwise.
* Dashergeaux: D
D is for Dwarfs. And a runner with catch and sneaky git.
* ex-convict: A
Another expansion team that did very well overall, these dwarves will start with two good blitzers, a good runner, a slayer, and at least one diving tackle. I'm not as convinced about using their other runner slot on a dedicated fouler, though most round 3 comp picks may not contribute as much as a quality boot!
* Jeffro:
I predict that Mike Vrabel hazes Dexter McCluster so hard, he loses what little pubic hair he had developed. It'll just fall out like a chemo-patient. Dirk Boston will be responsible for gathering it together for a disadvantaged bird's nest.
