The
NCBB is seeking a few good Americas-time coaches. We'll start a new season pretty soon, and have eight coaches for our rookie conference. We’d like to make it 10.
What we offer:
1) a NCAA spoof atmosphere with silly takes on NCAA teams;
2) a laid-back environment, full of bowl games, coach's polls, and whatnot;
3) a special conference
just for new teams, so you don't get creamed right out the gate;
4) a strong sense of history and continuity, via tie-ins to the
NBFL;
5) a great mix of experience: new coaches mix with legends.
What we're looking for:
1) you have to be free to play in the wee hours Euro time (evening in the Americas);
2) you have to be a reliable coach who can play at least a game a week;
3) skill set doesn't matter much, so long as you know how to play: we have coaches at all levels of skill.
Special rules:
1) we play 9-game seasons with maybe a bowl game afterward, about 3 seasons a year;
2) after 4 seasons your players retire (graduate), and go on to play in the NBFL, by way of a draft;
3) limit 4 fouls per game, except in one or two "rivalry" games per season;
4) fluff really matters, and coaches' polls and fluff rankings count for bowl standings.
Sound like fun? PM Ex-Convict (the commissioner) or me with your shortlist of colleges, and we'll go from there!
