NCBB National Championship Highlights: One Bloody Moment
NCBB National Championship Highlights: One Bloody Moment

Click on the image above or the following link to watch "One Bloody Moment"

As his capstone—I mean, capwood—project for his internship with the Duqueswood University Media Relations Department, we sent Oakward Weatherborn to cover the NCBB National Championship Game. When he failed to file an article over the next 72 hours, we realized it was probably a mistake to send a treeman who doesn't know how to write to cover the National Championship game.

But then we received this.

Collaborating with the great vampire crooner Count Uther Vampdross, Oakward recut the “One Bloody Moment” video with magecast highlights of the game. He may have graduated with a 0.0 GPA, but we think the treeman did a fine job of capturing the pageantry, the passion, and the pain that is the NCBB.

@BaronBucky, @Nightbird: Thanks!

Duqueswood is actually quite happy that Marshall won. Two or so seasons ago, the Green Dukes earned a draw against Marshall, and because of the wood elves' concept of time as cyclical and nonlinear, there's a portion of the campus that now believes they have a share of the national title. Personally, I don't have the heart to tell them they're wrong.
