Yesterday was may birthday, but I barely realized since I was so busy with setting up and managing my little daughter's birthday party (first time with more than one friend of hers). In the evening, when everything was over, I was quite exhausted and just felt the desire to relax, so I played a single BB7s tournament match with my high elves. I lost (and am out of the whole CRP Kickoff Tournament now) and retired my freshly crippled blitzer, but I also got three level ups: Normal roll on my -AV blodge catcher, 6+6 on a dodge lineman and 4+6 on my +AV dodge catcher. Needless to say I was quite happy about these results.

This morning when thinking back I realized those rolls were probably Nuffle's birthday presents: +ST is of course plain awesome (especially in BB7s) and opening the opportunity to take +AV on the third player I ever gave +AV at all directly addressed my moderate level of lunacy when it comes to Blood Bowl team building (needles to say I would have had a one-turner after next level up). Even though 9 3 4 8 looked very appealing, 8 3 4 9 just seemed perfect for me, since I gave him the first +AV to see whether it would make him more durable. Now I'll be able to test it even more. :-D
With zero MVP awards so far (players "get drafted" and have to be retired with award number four) he has the potential to become a legend!
