Rated 6 cos real life takes precedence

I've gone through a similar withdrawal myself, though I am staying active in a couple leagues.
Funny how time just changes how you view things. As long as you're happy though, it's all good.

Bah, Stan - how can you ruin my rating like that?! ;-D
@licker:
Exactly my thoughts. Others (in particularly my wife) have told me to play less during very intense FUMBBL times and sometimes I've thought it would be better, but didn't really have the force of will to make it happen. Now the urge just faded... Definitely a good thing.

I've been through the same thing for a few months - don't force it & the desire to play will come back in time...or not. Either way, enjoy what you're doing :)

We've all gone through similar, and real life should always take precedence. Every now and then I tone down my playing, and sometimes play something else that I can just pause and save when I'm no longer in the mood suits a lot better.
Play again if/when you feel you can play for the fun of it again and not before.
It's always a pleasure to play you or catch up in the PM, and you've added a lot to others enjoyment of this place.
Enjoy the break dude :D

I hit a similar wall and ended up going 28 months between matches. Just totally got burned out, for the 2nd time in 11 years. Anyway, been back a couple weeks or so, no tournaments yet (which has always been my main passion) but probably going to put something in the Lustrian. Hopefully in time the game will become fun again for you Mr. Rabe!

Personally I find I do the same thing; after a solid chunk of playing I'll just forget about it.
Then you get to make a glorious return!
Enjoy the time off

I have similar feelings.
But i will continue with my league however.
We need custom rosters...

I have found that scheduling is painful, and tournaments drain all the life out of me. Especially true for the big ranked (pimped) tournaments.
Countermeasure? Activate blackbox, and while waiting for activation, put up the gamefinder.

Great to see you are still here. You might well hit the pitch again soon. I hope so!

I hope so. :-)
@bghandras:
Box is indeed great for that. A random Box game or two were the only ones I played during that period aside from tournament games. Hell, I often felt so rusty, I squeezed a Box game in just to get a bit of a feeling back for what's going on down there on the pitch before playing a more important match. :-D

I hope you will get the fun back. It would be a shame, if we cant watch the Monsters play anymore :)
Cheers

I go through periods of addiction followed by periods of taking a break - but I always come back. Maybe it will be the same for you. I hope so! Take care.
