Imagine a team playing undermanned 7 vs. 10. Turn 16 for the kicking team, the players are scattered all over the field, half of them prone, all marked by at least one opposing player. The receiving Khemrian team has the ball, carried by a blodging side stepper, only six yards away from the endzone, only six yards away from the 2-1 win in their upcoming turn 16... but wait!
Suddenly one of the defenders gets up, dodges his opponent, goes for it and takes out the ball carrier with a clean pow! The ball bounces into a tomb guardians tackle zone though. But then another defender dodges his three attackers right into the mighty dead warrior's shadow and grabs the ball, breaks free, runs around the undead mob, goes for it once and passes the ball down the field ten yards, right into the hands of his waiting teammate who easily catches it thanks to his Nerves of Steel. The new ball carrier dodges the tomb guardian, runs towards the opponents' endzone, goes for it and scores for the 2-1 victory!
Typical elfball, one might say, even though a little bit lucky of course.
But then again, it wasn't elves, but dwarves who performed this magic! Watch the last three turns of the replay:
Agility Monsters strike again!
(Lucky as hell, but those are the actions the team is all about. :-) )
