No idea about BB, but I'm pretty sure D&D comes with rolls for height (some base height +2d8 inches or something like that).

From WFRP.
Height: Male 4'4" + D10"
Female 4'2" + D10"
No data on weight.
Wikipedia estimates WFB Dwarf height at 4' 5" to 5', no source quoted.

Wow, +D10 makes so much less sense than +2d8. With +d10, the extremes occur just as often as the average...

They had the data on the back of the star player cards for 2nd ed. However these were the stars.
Grimwold was over 5 feet tall IIRC and Pick and Flint I think weighed over 300lb. These were hefty super stars though.

After crunching some numbers I have concluded that yes, in fact Pig Star's values are correct.

Weight needs to be calculated with and without beard.
I would say that the average dwarf BB player would be 100kg 220lbs without hair. With hair. Well it could be 50% more

So runners are faster because they shave?

If you are adding height and weight to their profiles, I'd recommend doing as such:
heights: short, very short, stubby, etc
weights: fat, stuffed, stout, quite "grand", "big-boned", etc. etc.

I found a reprinting here of tables I used to use for AD&D:
http://elvis.rowan.edu/~klassen/gaming/rules/vitals.html
I believe Hill Dwarves are the AD&D standard, so that would give an average strength dwarf at 48 inches tall, 150.8 pounds. If you assume that Blood Bowl players would automatically be significantly stronger than the global average strength, that would push those numbers up for the team. The link also shows die rolls to use to modify these.

You should go back to the 2e books, or 1e if you have them handy. Really, anything more recent than that is just fan-fic ;)
