Hi all! Apologies for a forum reproduction... Find the thread here!
The wait is almost over; the second online NAF tournament in our series will begin on Monday, 30th March. We begin our tour around the NAF world with a ruleset from a brilliant French league: The Lutèce Cup.
The rulespack for our tournament can be found here, here, or on the group page. A summary can be found below.
The Lutèce Cup tabletop tournament 2015 will take place on the 21/22 March in Paris. You can find more details here and the home of the league here (in French). If you’re French, in France or just interested in great tabletop Blood Bowl, have a look!
You will be able to make a team and apply to the tournament on Monday, 23rd March. Until then, the group page has a new FAQ section, and you can ask any questions below. Huge thanks to the Lutèce guys, I hope you’ll enjoy an online taste of their wonderful tournament!

Rulespack Summary
• Non-progression Blood Bowl!
• Team treasury: 1.15 M gold. Teams MUST include an inducement (no Wizards)
• Format: 6 games of Swiss in ~ 40 team groups formed according to timezone preference (Europe, America, Australasia), followed by a playoff
• Weekly rounds
• 4 normal skills and 1 double, all selected before game 1

Am I right in thinking this is a tournament in its own right rather than a qualifier then? The winner won't have to turn up at some future French tabletop tourney?

One question I have: It seems clear but not explicit that if you pick a dirty trick card, it would be randomly drawn for each match, right? You aren't actually picking which card you get?
As an aside, doesn't this make woodies and UD even better than under the previous format? 1100 they are killer, 1150 is just 1100 with a babe... can anyone else get better than that with an additional 50? I'm just grasping around for any reason not to play WE or UD here... ;)

Lizardmen get significantly better at 115 over 110. That's just one example. Certainly not a no brain choice of Woodies or Undead.

No free ticket to a tournament this time, and yes your trick is random in each game.
Tiers (other methods of making other teams more competitive) are in our future, but I certainly do not believe this to be a two horse race. I've played in three Lutece tournaments, and plenty more races are viable.

Ok, first off this sounds great! This will solve many coaches scheduling problems w/ the TZ specific groups & it's great that it is a different format for team creation/ skill additions. One question I have, after reading through the rules, is "Are same stars void vs each other?".
