NAF Live: The Next One
Hello all.
The Danish Open is in the books, and congratulations to El_Conde_Chuzhor, Nicoda and Ghorgrix for their glorious victories!
As discussed in a previous blog, NAF Live is now going to move to a monthly schedule. For those of you that like to get things in your calendars early and begin domestic negotiations, our next tournament is going to be on the weekend of 27/28 June, and we will be basing* our rules on the Three Die Brawl ruleset curated by the Three Die Block podcast. The Danish Open was very deep, complicated and European, and I'd describe the 3DB rules as classically American. We've not taken a ruleset from the States yet, so I'm pretty happy to be able to bring you some more variety!
I know Tripleskull is keen for all of your Danish feedback, so please feel free to give that in the forum thread. I'm yet to find a ruleset that's universally popular, but I think he's more interested in balance than he is how much you liked it. :)
Anyway. I'll be back with advertisements and details later in the month. Until then, enjoy the sun!

I've literally just sent an email to the tournaments who are vying to fill our July and August openings and suggested that two of them run as one-dayers one weekend in August. Their rulesets are at either end of the complexity spectrum, and I think it would give people an interesting choice if they only have one day spare.
Don't know how the idea will go down, but in short yes, I would like to get another one-dayer or two in.
