NAF World Cup Warm Up - Rulespack Available!



Hi all!

It’s time for the big one!

The next online NAF tournament will be the World Cup Warm Up (WCWU). We will kick off on Monday, 17th August, and the event should get you firmly in the mood ahead of Lucca! The WCWU features World Cup themed physical prizes, a team event and a World Cup ruleset, so you really can’t go wrong joining us for a WC themed online showdown!

You will be able to make a team and apply to the tournament on Monday, 10th August.

I can't wait to get the Lucca party underway, and I hope as many of you as possible get involved!

Rulespack Summary

- Non-progression Blood Bowl!
- Team treasury: 1.10 M gold. Inducements available for Tier 3 races
- Format: 6 games of Swiss in approximately 30 team groups formed according to timezone preference (Europe, America, Australasia), followed by a playoff
Weekly rounds
- 7 skills, distributed before games 1 (3 ‘normal’), 3 (1 ‘normal’ and 1 ‘double’) and 5 (2 ‘normal’)
- World Cup memorabilia prizes (pitches and miniatures)
- A Team Challenge to set the Lucca mood!

For those not in the know, this November, over 900 coaches will arrive in Lucca, Italy to contest the NAF World Cup (see the website here). Over 3 days, 9 games will be played between teams of six to decide the biggest prize in tournament Blood Bowl. More importantly than that, coaches from across the globe will come together to celebrate this fine game over one or two small beers. Sound good? It bloody will be!

great news !!

i'm out for holidays between 8 and 17 of august, can i join with an existing L 110 team (let's say the dutch open one ?)

Hello!

You can apply to the group with an existing team, but you'll have to do it between the 10th and 17th and re select your skills. Perhaps you can do it as you arrive home? :)
