Resolution #1 should be get a coach pic uploaded

The only resolution i'd make is to try to make yourself laugh in every game you play. Anything else is a bonus.

Or just upload a photo of Mick Hucknall instead.

Try and see how high you can place in the FUMBBL tour? Its not like you have to be a horrific cheese pimp to do well. Other than that I'd play for the fun of playing, maybe make some vampires again?
Get up old man ;)

Impresive entry for the blog... I usually wont answer to such a personal thread from someone whom I don't know well, but I felt some affinity (I spect to finish at the uni this year, and allready have my spare time cut down)
1) as I really enjoy the BBox, my first option is "try the box again". May be not full time, but it could work for someone with little spare time. Now that there are tournaments, team building has a point. And you can see your BWR and BBR (that's not a goal, but it's nice to see the numbers jump)
2) but as you tried it and left, may be you don't find a goal there. My second option is "try to make a signature team in Ranked (or BBox) and learn to enjoy it". It seems to work for some coaches (Hellfishes, Darkbones, Dolls, Startrek...) at least for some time. Also, focusing in one team probably suits your tiemetable better.
You have some long standing League teams, but the format of leagues has its limits.

i'm with phil78, i like to know how pretty my friends and opponents are.
Also, play more Tourneys would be my resolution, and adaopt a newbie through academy.

Will you snap out of it if I tell you that with this blog you're on the verge of turning emo? :D

I have a suggestion, but it's a hard nettle to grasp.
Forget all your previous thoughts on Blackbox, the players, the team, or even the reduction in game in Ranked. Clear your mind and try the division again, with a fresh team and a fresh outlook.
Try and create a team or two you will play to 100 games, which seems to have been your break point in the past. I would suggest High Elves and perhaps Necro's.
It's amazing what can change with a fresh outlook. I use to hate Skaven, but then I chased the 'Player' Awards and found out how awesome they were.

Several good suggestions. I shall digest and ponder - thanks!

something to aim for you say, how about learning mrs Goo to play so you and her can have some fun in the late night hours, play to see who is going to empty the dishwasher or clean the toilet, or maybe just to have some mutual fun together and see how she progresses with her teams. just a thought but imo that could be fun and cool.

or start a smack winning contest with me and piggy.
or try some stunty cups.

I was going to suggest Nin's 2), create a signature team. It does take some time and devotion, but I think building a team franchise is the best form of team building you can commit yourself to. Those are also the most fun to follow for those of us in the crowd /cheering and /booing.

OK, thanks for all the help. The resolutions:
1. Try [B] again with a fresh outlook. I shall incorporate two teams I don't like (Chaos + PE) into this second chance ball.
2. Create a 'franchise team'. This will be [R] HE, since they're my favourite race. I'll try and delete some teams I don't care about to force me to play 'the team' more.
3. Upload a photo.
4. Attempt to enter 1 official tourney a month. Probably not the Tour in it's current format, since I find the lack of variation dull.
5. Be less emo.
We'll see in a year's team how I've gotten on!
Posted by Hogshine on 2009-10-05 19:18:17
Aw, don't be less emo. That makes me so sad I could cut myself while crying about how all existence is doomed. :(

Christer and I try very hard to have the lrb5 client ready to play until the end of the year. So there just might be something new to try for you next year :-)
