A cup of tea and a chat with the Great Gobbo - A KO! Magazine exclusive
KO! Magazine: "Hello Great Gobbo, thank you for joining us for a spot of tea and a catch up with all of your teams activities"
The Great Gobbo: "No probz mush, az long az yew iz payin!"
KO!: "How excited are you for the upcoming Fumbbl Major, the Warpstone Open"
GG: "I ent, we iz alreddy out"
KO!: "But the draw was only made late last night"
GG: "Yer point bein?"
KO!: "Well tell us what happened"
GG: "It woz a disaster from start ter finish. Furst we took der rong turnin outside Barrak Varr an nearly ended up in der Blakk Penninsular, den we got drawn against a teem o bluddy amazun wimmin an finally der weird pitch we played on made everywun feel sikk an gave me a splittin eadache"
KO!: "That was the Tide's second Major after the Fumbbl Cup. How are you finding competing in these events?"
GG: "Itz zoggin ard, but az we say rownd ere if yer don't bring a nife den yer karnt stab sumwun"
KO!: "And how is Greeda Stinkbreath ?
GG: "Ee iz still playin az gud az evva an skorin regular. Ee az set imself a target o 100 tuchdurns which I dunt fink ee will get az ee will need anuvva 39 an datz gunna be tuff"
KO!: "Lets talk about Deff Frum Abuvv, who recently suffered the tragic loss of Skumble Fizznekka "
GG: "Yer, dat woz a devastatin loss. An wot iz Christer doin about dat witch elf turnin im inter a frog wiv illegal majik? Nuffin! It's a bluddy disgrace! I iz gunna start callin im Komishoner Gudell if fings dunt improve soon"
KO!: "And how are the team coping?"
GG: "Dey iz getting der, espeshulally az iz yunger bruvva Hooch Fizznekka az started off so well wiv nine kasulteez in iz furst for gamez. Giv im iz dew Honest John noze a gud troll wen ee seez wun"
KO!: "Is that where you get all of your trolls from?"
GG: "Yep, Honest Johnz used kart emporeeum an troll supplies. Itz lokashun movez around abit koz o der law an dem tryin ter kollekt taxes off im but wurff der effert. Ee also az a lovely sekund and red slay ee iz flogging ded cheep so go find im"

GG: "Der Green Tide Yoof Sekshun? Yer dey az just finished der furst seesun in der Kislev East divishun wiv a perfekt rekord"
KO!: "They lost every game didn't they...."
GG: "Yep, played five lost five but der arr a kuppla ladz in Vnaark Deathgivva an Grunda Stinkbreff oo av showed sum promise so I fink in der end it wuz a gud decishun to go an play. Der only problem iz dat eastern Kislev iz bluddy freezing diz time o year so I mite mek Nige koach em next time"

Dear Mr. The Great Gobbo,
I read and enjoyed your interview in the recent issue of this fine journal. I'm sure you have many fans clamoring to see more of your particular brand of tactics (read: cheating) on the pitch. I have been a fan of your team's particular playstyle (again: cheating) for some time now, and I am dying to know: When will you be bringing your coaching wisdom (cheating) to the Box? As you may be aware, there is an entiARR organization dedicated toward the advancement of Blood Bowl clubs such as yours. What is more, many of the other teams that currently battle in the box are in desperate need of being blown apart and/or sawed in half. Please help us to destroy them using any means at your disposal (for example: cheating). Inquire here:

I heard that KO Magazine! employs freelance journalists for these kind of interviews as it promotes a closer working relationship and thus reveals far more juicy details than having a few in house reporters who have to spread their time thinly.
So if you know a young aspiring reporter you could get in early and foster your own "mouthpiece" to promote your team further.

Mine would be:
1) Great Gobbo, do you want KO magazine to edit your remarks so the readers can understand you?
2) Why do you go against practical Goblin tactics, by playing honestly (like a Halfling,) and avoid using a Looney and Bomber on your team since they are goblins?
