Buddy List Suggestion
I have quite a few people on my Buddy list. Sometimes I cant remember why I even buddied a person in the first place. I wish we could tag or create sections to help organize the people I have on there.

The kind of groups I would have, would be mainly divided into Leagues I am part of. Friends, and other coaches I like to watch play. It would be nice to have a way of keeping track of them all. I don't know if things like that are possible or not within the site.

I have one category for the buddy list: Folks I'd drink a beer with. Some folks were on the list and aren't now. Some folks will never be on it. Makes it pretty easy for me, though... as most of my league-mates will always be on it.

Id drink almost anyone, so that list couldn't be narrowed down as low as yours Jeffro if I used that as my criteria :P The problem with the Whitelist is I have to go search for it. Buddy lists are on the overview, and are easily accessible. If there was a way to organize it, only the people who wished to use it would. :) Besides only the individual can see his own buddy list.

I think this is a good idea. That or have a cutomizable table with 'who's online' in various groups. That way you already know who's online in your leagues. Also: have a separate 'is online' indicator for opponents you're scheduled against.

With such a tool on your main page, you'd no longer need to add those people to your buddy list, so you could limit that to, you know, buddies.

Ha ha. Ya typo in the drink with almost anyone.

I was planning to do the suggestion. By blogging it first, you can see what people think about it before putting it in. I think it's a good initial idea but I know I haven't really thought it through to its full extent. Ill suggest it anyways. Maybe an admin would have a better idea for functionality.
