Keggies coming to England
Life has a funny way of turning out. One year I’m not playing rugby, then next Im on the +35 Canada squad playing at the Rugby League World Cup in Manchester and Leeds in November. Sure I’m not in the actually World Cup, but I’m playing in a side tournament for the old and disgusting on a National level. It a legal thing and I am officially on a National team, even only after 1 season of league. I just turned 47 and this past season I played with a bunch of 20 year olds in League. I felt like I was beating up a bunch of little kids. Anywho, it was way more aggressive than the Union I grew up on and I fouling loved it. I think I’m going to play it again next season.
I’m coming one single day early and I’m going to try to meet up with Kfog (though he doesn’t know it yet.) if you’re local to Manchester or Leeds I’ll be there between Nov 3-14th. Read the local rags maybe I’ll need to be bailed out of jail. I wish I had more free time to play a tourney or do some comedy gigs. I guess I’ll stick to playing BB for realz.

@clayinfinity, I don’t have a NRL team other than the Maroons. I’ve been watching a ton of old State of Origins. After playing, it’s made watching league so much better, now that I know some of the nuances.
