I got it on steam during the sales, lovely game. I used to play a lot of eye of the beholder back in the day. Didn't get much into this one yet, but I'm sure I will. Especially with the custom dungeons and support from steam workshop!

Sounds really cool. I should check it out.

Thanks fore the reminder. Saw this on a couple of 2012 'game of the year' lists and as another old EotB fan, guessed it would be my kind of thing.

Very cool game, especially if you consider that you can get it very cheap, as Steam got a Sale almost all the time.
Do you guys play with the standard group? I do.
Mino beeing a tank, skilled for heavy armour.
Male human having alot of evasion (he's in the first row too).
Male human gets everything thrown.
Wizard skilled most in earth spells.
Some time ago that I last played, but I made it to level 6 or 7, with that setup so far, I think.
I really, really like the game, only critique I got, is that the "hidden" switches look all the same too much. There's basically only one, always in the same spot.

That actually sounds awesome; I played eye of the beholder so many times that I once sat down and did it with my eyes closed just to show my friend how far I could get without looking. Got to the dwarf encampment and couldn't remember the exact number of dialogue buttons.

Liked it a lot, too. Though, I don't see the importance of tactics. You just have to move in the right moment ;).

Well, you have to pick the right places to fight - usually meaning at least a 2x2 square or a corridor you can back down with turn offs to avoid missiles.
