I love Plorg's comments reviewing the recent Buccaneers v halfling game as if he is playing some newbie.
You are right about the Marathons. Playing 3+ games when you are free can seem like a fun prospect but if you get a succession of bad roll games in a short time anybody's mood can plummet.

Think we've all been there . . . I'm the sort of coach who cares less about the result & more about the 'fun-having', but sometimes when you think the rolls are against you (even when they might not be) it's real hard not to get worked up over it. I generally find 8hours sleep sorts out any issue I have before my next game

Its exactly why I play only 2-3 games a week. Too much games in a row and I lose my fun.

Happens to the best of us. And yeah, marathons can sour things.

12 hours?
Damn dude, go for a walk or something! Lift up something heavy!

Very recognisable scenario there PS.
I have also found myself to be a much more pleasant opponent when I keep the number of games within a reasonable limit.

Maybe that's my problem...
I've played 5 games per day for years...
:D

All play and no... um... anything else make Johnny batsh*t crazy!
It is known.

@garyt1: He was playing a newbie. That game was 5 years ago. Think you got the match list upside down :-P

Haha! I thought no wonder he was annoyed when well beaten by halflings and struggling against Ogres.

Hehe I think it's been over a year that I played more than 3 matches in a day, marathons doesn't work that well for me either. :)

Don't be hard with yourself. This happens to all of us.

BB can be heavy on the mind, at least for me :)
Don't play more than 2 games a day.

Rated 6 for owning your meltdown. I'd play the Bucks any time i'm on.

Sounds like you learned something. =)
If you play >2 games, they shouldn't be back to back.

Good blog thats how i feel, reason why i have left almost all my leagues i am in and lost faith in FUMBBL.

And here I was opening this blog hoping you had melted down an entire Halfling team and remodelled into a monstrous Ogrefling (stunty team coming up).

my limit is usually 3 dice rape games in a row. by the third, I get foul in mood.
everyone has those days. See you again on the pitch!
