Lack of acting talent can make everything impossible.

agreed
just barging in and yelling WE"VE GOT A CAVE TROLL/GIANT WHATEVER would work much better

Jack doesn't overcomb enough.

I felt like the reasoning to bring him back made no sense whatsoever. It didn't seem to serve any inherent purpose neither personal nor political. I get the whole 'he's a symbol' thing but that seems all to go a little far if that's all the reason. And fittingly the only thing he did after was to basically only care about his own business.

This season has been pretty disappointing tbh
They should have stuck to the books

He betrayed the Nights watch and now he is betraying the North. I think he is more like rebuilding his public relations than pitching anything. Forget them, Arya is the real story this week!

that's why he's Jon "NEVER-A-JOY" Snow

Its a problem with magic i GOT now, earlier we saw just hint of magic, but that resurrection should have enourmous impact on people, we are talking about a new Jesus here, back from the dead! Strange though, no one seem to care too much about it in the series, in real life he would be worshipped by now.

The way he has been played makes sense to me.
Think about it.
In the Nights Watch he was taught to be ruthless and do whatever it takes to survive. And that's what we saw him act like when he was Lord Commander.
In the North he has been taught that he needs to respect his "betters" as he is a bastard and not a true Stark. It's going to hard to go against a lifetime of conditioning when he is in one of the Great Houses looking for help. If you notice he didn't look the people he ws asking for help in the eyes, just kept his head down and looked like he was trying to fade into the background. Just like he would have been taught when he was younger. It was Sansa who looked like she belonged and was of equal stature.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes before he realises that those he needs help from aren't his betters at all and starts to act like he did in the Nights Watch.

If you go back to S6 E1 or 2 when Sansa met with Littlefinger. His last words of advice to her was she needed an army loyal to her. John Snows army is not loyal to Sansa but John. Which was the obvious set up that the Army of the Vale will be arriving very soon to help out Sansa when Johns army is getting crushed into kibble bits.

^^ O RLY. Most obvious raven ploy ever. Pity she took so long to swallow her pride and be pragmatic...

this whole show almost makes you think that there's more to becoming a king than straight out warfare...

"So tell me again why we should follow a bastard revenant oathbreaker."

Also anyone wanna bet that the army from the Vale will arrive just in time and no matter that it's about ten times as far away?
