What a Birth Day! right
So yesterday was my birthday, RAHHH!!!! Was going into work to get the store set up, make sure everything was running fine before I took the day off with the family.

AND THEN

I got rear ended coming up to a red light by a drunk driver going 65-70MPH at 8:30 AM IN THE MORNING! Her car went under my Outlander, launched my car forward over 30ft right into the back of a box trailer of a roofing guy. The impact of my car sent the yoke of his trailer through the bed of his truck, the trailer hitch was obliterated.

Lucky for me I was not at a stop, I was coasting coming up to it at around 15-20 MPH or else I would of most likely been in the hospital today.

My wife and kids showed up at the accident site about 5 minutes later, it was right around the corner from our house and picked me up for the rest of my glorious birth day.

I got a rental from my insurance company a few hours later, a F150 XLT extended cab, man that truck is awesome. My kids want me to ditch that POS Outlander and buy this truck. Of course when I mentioned it was over 50K to buy this truck, they did not care.

So we got unlimited mileage on the truck so my family and I next weekend are going to take this truck to Florida for our summer vacation. No need to put 1400 miles on one of our cars, right.


In the end

I will not forget this birthday, ever.


Side note: Some how, some way, I was not injured at all, just a little sore on my shoulder where the seat belt dug in.

But yeah, you should still get a look over by a doctor. Guy i know didn't have any issues after a crash till a few days later and then he was in bed for 3 weeks.

That'd ruin the road trip i think.

Well, when I was working in the UK the company gave me a BMW 1 Sport because "you didn't come with your car here, right?".
When they had to check it up I've received an M3 because "series 1 are ended, do you mind this? ever drove diesel before?". Me waz happy kid 'gain.
