Oh it is just ugly right now. The Bucs are the redheaded stepchild of some angry God or somthing.

Been wallowing with 9-10 players for weeks. Banking the cash and getting set.

Finally after I have a solid core of 8 players I go for it so to speak and buy up to 14 players.

I get 2 lino, a back up thrower, an ogre and 2 blitzers.

My next three games.

lose all 3 matches
2 lino (both rookies that I purchased) KIA
Thrower (primary thrower with ST4) retired after -AG
Thrower retired (that rookie chump I hired) after -AG

SO back to square one with 10 players.

also in the span of those 3 games we make a grand total of 20,000 gold.

Who do I have to DP boot for the KIA to make the Gods smile on us once again?

Fire the whole damn team. Hire a thrower with your 70K, and go with 10 journeyman for a while.

they're awesome in the new rules. sneaky git / dp or block dauntless, yum yum! or just go for a super scorer, block sure feet side step fend diving catch.

I disagree with Arktoris, and agree with that Arktoris guy below him.

Humans can actually light some guys up now, with MB/PO being 2 skills for 4 players. For a human team these days, I'd probably split it 2 and 2, going with MB/PO/Tackle/JU on two and Guard/MB/Tackle/Dodge on the other two. PO for the ogre isn't a terrible skill either, after Guard.

You might want a Dauntless or two in there, if you're playing a lot of orcs, as with the MB/PO you're reducing your Guard total until very high spp.

I've been on a pretty good run lately (which I'm not convinced isn't heavily luck-based), and I've also been killing Charioteers and grandfathered Tomb Guardians. I can't see these not being related, so that's my recommendation.

I to grab to see how it played out...what I found is that it drives sidestepping blodge elves completly nutz!!!! they forget that grab negtaes sidestep....so many surfs.
