With the deadline for the
NAFC looming I have been concentrating my spare time on getting the khemri team done.
Things have been going well and I have made some real progress over the last couple of weeks.
I have finished another 3 skeletons so that brings the total up to 8 for a full team of 16 once the last of the positionals are done. The guy on the left looks like he is leaning too far back and about to sneeze, but that is more to do with the camera angle, he is supposed to be setting himself to get hit on the LOS.
I have also finished both Thro-ras, as I have always seen them as more like quarterbacks they are made from liche priest bits so are the "brains" of the team if that is appropriate for Khemri or BB team members in general.
The Blitz-ras were the 1st players I built and are still my favourites. I hope the head gear, more dynamic poses and different shoulder pads is enough to differentiate them from the rest of the skeleton players as I hate when players look too similar.
I have spent a large portion of today painting up the tomb guardians. I have almost finished the bone parts and hope to complete them over the bank holiday long weekend. After that my next priority will be painting up the Ramtut conversion and then the display base and re-roll/turn/score markers. I hope to get all those done in time for the GT.
Oh and listen to Meta-goo, join the 185 other BB nerds
at the GT in Nottingham on the 19th and 20t May. You can meet some of your favourite FUMBBL "celebrities" and play 6 games over the space of a weekend.
Come on you need to show these TT n00bs how to play the game!
