The team is now complete, below are pics of all the players with the bases and number done.
Since there are 19 players I've made the duplicates be numbers 4,8 & 16 as a 2nd thrower, 4th catcher and 16th player won't be as common.
There won't be much new in these pics, the only converted model is the 2nd thrower who i've made out of a spare Blizter, a head & hand swap and some green stuff as well as the paint job should differenciate him enough from the Blizters.
For the bases I've gone for basic flock with some static grass, i didn't feel that the usual grisly trophies really suited High Elves and try to keep the bases of each team I do in character.
My next project will be my own team for the GT at the end of May and Piggy's giant chicken when i want some variety between. After that I will be making up some coaching staff for veron and a skaven team for Piggy so that will keep me busy for much of the summer.
A while back Pigstar-69 asked me to paint him up a weird giant mutated Cockerel to use as a head coach.
It's the first non-GW model I've painted in 15+ years. Had a few difficulties with the legs being seperate so chopped off his lower legs are replaced them with rods and the resculpted the legs. This means he's going to be very sturdy and helped with positioning so he can stand on the ball.
Some of the feathers weren't very detailed either as the mould must have lost a bit of intergrity during the casting but he's turned out pretty well. I based the colour scheme on [utl=http://jennygardiner.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/rooster.jpg]thie Rooster as i wanted a natural colour scheme but still something quite bright.
