This blog is mainly a test to see if other people can see these pics. Previously I'd been using Photobucket but those links are not https so won't work now.
So instead I'm uploading photos to Facebook and using that, they work for me but I'm not sure if others can view them.

The team is now done and varnished, a full squad of 16 elves that can be used as either Pro or High Elf, plus star player Eldril Sidewinder and 2 cheerleaders.
I went for a painted star on the hip as the player number, below is a close up of it on the kicker.
Regarding the discussion comments of the 2nd edition models in my last blog I do have a soft spot for these models. I suppose much of it is nostalgia since on reflection the faces are a tad goofy on some of these elves.
However I think they have a lot more character than the 3rd edition range which were rather bland. I like them better than most of the other fantasy football models available, though there are a couple of companies that have produced some great models lately. Frankly considering these are 20 years old it really shouldn't be that hard to top them.
Also the entire BB range actually looked like were sports athletes rather than soldiers from the fantasy range that had dropped their weapons.
I still think the 2nd edition skaven are the best BB models out there.
I also received the special star bowl dice in the post this week. Everyone who attends will get a pair of the blue dice.
Plus these red pearlescent ones will be given out as prizes to a select few coaches. I really like these and wish I'd done more pearl dice in the past.
Close up of the Star Bowl logo, slightly altered from the 1st year.
If you want to be in with a shot of winning that team, get your hands on those dice and generally have a great BB filled weekend then there is still time to buy a ticket to the
White Isle Star Bowl III. The event takes place on the 22nd and 23rd of September in Warhammer World Nottingham and there are already a fair few FUMBBLers going.
